DADAJI'S 90TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
Noted Marathi poet Mangesh Padgaonkar presided over an informal function on 4th Sept, 07 in Yeoor, Thane, to felicitate mystic and writer Dada Gavand (Dadaji) on his 90th Birthday. A set of nine books, comprising the complete works of Dada Gavand, was made available at a heavily discounted rate of Rs. 999/- on the occasion.
Even at the age of 90, Dadaji is full of enthusiasm, creativity and a quiet confidence that springs from innermost peace and joy. The driving force behind his extra-ordinary creativity is an other- dimensional intuitive energy. According to Dadaji, this energy is available to all, provided they turn to it in full earnest and create the right conditions for its free and intelligent play. It is this very energy that enables Dadaji to simultaneously orchestrate several on-going projects such as some carefully and compassionately chalked out social-welfare schemes and the translation of his monumental autobiography ‘Intelligence Beyond Thought’ into Marathi and Hindi.
